She's gone..........

Sold my 2000 Xedi to a friend/collegue... hope it does not come back to haunt me. Sad to see it go. My daughter is relocating to Maylasia and has left us her Toyota RAV 2.2D - the missus will use it. I also recently purchased a Mazda 4 x 4 double cab for some serious off the beaten track travelling and towing the caravan.

I must say a big THANK YOU to the members on this forum for all the advice and information.... it helped me a lot.

Next step will be to buy an old series and fix it up to keep me busy. Still my favorite vechicle by far..!!!!:rolly:

No reason to be a stranger. Stick around, you might get the Freelander bug again .

No doubt you'll dropping in from time to time to see us, once you got the landy bug you carnt shake it!

Your next step should be to save up for a solid flywheel conversion for your Rav. Them toyota dual mass jobbies aint the best.

Dissapointingly the RAV is only rated to tow a max. of 500kg..... that is where I will miss the Feelander's tow rating of 1800 kg I think it was. I will still take an active interest in this site... I have Landrover blood in me. Who knows, maybe done the line I will pick up a good TD4 at an auction or somewhere at a good price. A few months back I saw a beaut with 50 000km on the clock go for a song. Time was just not right for me to buy then.
