Well, while you're enjoying the fireworks, I've been sat here with
local plod* going over CCTV footage from last night - when, at
20.05hrs (while I was talking to Simon on the dog-n-bone) some little
scrote - after thinking they'd disabled the CCTV (one camera knocked
out, leaving three covert) broke into Grumble. Took MP3 CD Sony
header, satnav (my fishfinder) and a few other bits. Not too much
hassle as they were mostly due for decom when the digidash goes in
anyway. Broke the fecking side window though...

This after Max puppy had been in the doggie hospital all day having
his paw rebuilt (sorry forelorn puppy at present with big bandage and
very, very big lampshade around his neck)...

Expensive day 'twas yesterday, circa 1,800 quid in all, ho hum... :-(

Sorry about that - I hope they can do something and catch the bugger.
You'll have to get something that alerts you when the CCTV gets some
movement so that you can nip out with your maglite and investigate.

The new CCTV at work caught some little buggers breaking in last week.
We spent a while getting a good shot of them off the CCTV and printing
it out to give to the police. They were even identified (Its a school
and they were ex-pupils). Still waiting to find out what the police
are going to do about as of the end of last week.

Ususally someone within 1/4 mile. If you find them first and need a chuck

I've seen a few Digital dashes advertised by Kit car accessory companies,
can did the Advert out if you like. Think it's at work, in my locker...safe!

I think the going rate for punishment for such crimes is a holiday to

Thieving little scrotes, need shooting. Trust you were able to get
some decent images, from what I remember your CCTV set up is fairly
good.

Sounds like a case of someone who knew what was in the vehicle.....

Trust puppy dog is not chewing his bandages this time??

Missed a cracker last night, just got up and had fried breakfast....
Took 2.5hrs to let of the things last night, lots of mushy peas,
sausages, meat and tatty pie, jacket spuds, and the odd tin of beer.
Yet again, silly big tent proved its usefulness, and will hold a full
size patio heater too boot!

Oh, and yes father is still dining out on LRFest.....

Did you have to chase the bastards over the pennines Martyn?

Some little bastard put in the drivers side rear door window on mine
last night and destroyed the steering lock and ignition switch and
still didn't manage to steal the damn thing.

If I find them they are going to be introduced to the wonders of a brake
fluid and EP90 facial.

I am extremely *NOT* happy just now.

Little ****rags, a mate of mine once caught two youths breaking into his
wifes car. He is a ****ing nutter at the best of times. He kicked to living
****e out of both of them in his next doors garden after they tried to get
away. He got away with it as no-one saw anything!!

It makes me smile every time we talk about it! Bet they didn't expect to go
home with broken teeth & splattered faces!!

Sometimes, it's best to not catch the scumbags. I just know i would go too
far.

Years ago I used to have a Renault 5GT Turbo, it was a magnet to car
thieves. One ****er even broke into my garage by taking the roof off!! I
used to take the middle HT lead off, they never got it. I called the rozzers
& they attended. I knew who it was & they more or less told me to sort him
out myself. I found where he hung around & myself & few mates from the gym
(i'm not exactly small either!!) nipped round where he was hanging round
with his mates & had a word. I offered him the keys there & then& tolf him
if he came within 50 yards of my house he would need medicalk assitance. His
scrote mates ****ing ran away!!! Never even saw him again after that.

If you need info about someone you think is doing this kind of stuff speak
to threee folk. Local shop keeps, they know everything about local scum, The
police & other villains! Works every time Paul. It helps me that i know a
lot of 'dubious' law abiders shall we say, although i',m not that way
inclined myself.

They don't always get away with it mate, it just feels like that now.

Awww. We have a Max puppy, albeit now 18 months old and 6 stone 4 pounds
(weighed him yesterday). It's horrible when they're poorly or injured. I'm
impressed that yours will tolerate a lampshade. When our Max was "seen to"
he came home with one. It lasted approximately 40 seconds. If he hadn't
removed it, we'd have had to, just so that we'd have some furniture left.

Best wishes to your boy, and much misfortune to your burglars.
