 I just survived 2mo. of "whats wrong with it" on my Disco. Not much for qualified mechs in Washington state, USA. I had SES light on and initially codes P1171 & P1174 (fuel adaption fault bank 2, and bank 1 & 2 lean). It does pay to own a code reader with these. Changed all O2 sensors and MAF sensor myself, no help. Spokane LR dealer put 20yr old kid on it, (not as savy as this old aircraft mechanic), and said "no problems". Coded again before I left town. Long story short, a Bosch center in Pasco, Wa. found still low voltage from MAF. They thought intake plenum gasket leaking, no joy there, but then found O-rings at injector nozzles deteriorated and leaking extra air into intake manifold. Good fix, and happy motoring now! Watch this as it will show as codes for a while, then move to rough idle and 30-45mph backlash whip in drivetrain during throttle on/off. Thought I smelled fuel during last fill-up before repair, could have burned the old crate down! (manufacturer recall needed?)
