Evening,

I've got a Disco 1 300TDi with 140,000k on the clock but no service history, so i'm making a quick checklist of bits to change and things to do;

1) Oil & Oil Filter (Has anyone used the Triple QX stuff from ECP? http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/L...ineoils/15w40-engine-oil/?521776111&0&cc5_246 is this fine for the engine?)
2) Fuel Filter & Air Filter
3) Clean out Sedimenter
4) EGR Valve blanking
5) Timing Belt Kit & Serpentine Belt
6) Brake fluid change (Decent-ish DOT4?)
7) Fresh Coolant (Any recommendations? Believe 50/50 mixture)
8) Transmission fluid all round
9) Grease Union joints & sliders

Would appreciate any advice on what to get or what i'm missing.

Thanks in Advance! :D

Oil change for gearbox, transfer box, front and rear diffs, grease U/J's and sliders on both propshafts.
Things to check, condition of the brake discs and pads, leaks around the power steering system.
A very close look at the chassis, particularly the rear cross member for rust/rot.
That should keep you out of mischief for an hour or two.
And make sure that you keep your wallet topped up for those little emergencies.

Thanks Brian much appreciated!

I'll add the transmission fluids and greasing to the list.

I've got bookmarked a set of Mintex Pads and discs from Paddockspare, I run Mintex 1144 pads on my track car which are absolutely amazing, but I was wondering about their everyday stuff as I had heard mixed reviews previously?

You've actually just reminded me that the MOT had an advisory about a "Steering Box Slight Weep"... Is this a common problem with a common solution?

Thanks again!
