Me i have jack + hammer + plyers + socket set + ajustabul + footprints (Never leave home without your foot prints)+ screw drivers + knife + torch (Wind up)+ recovery + straps jump cables+ wd40 + oil + water + duck tape + Assorted cable ties + assorted nuts bolts screws + various bits of wire and string.

But if i could only take one tool it would be a me Footprints.
 
I used to drive an SD1 Rover V8, I'm not saying it was unreliable but I carried the following in the boot:
Full set of spanners, socket set, screwdrivers, multimeter, various pliers and mole grips etc, trolley jack, spare battery, Jump leads, tow rope, gallon engine oil, spare water, ATF as well as a set of overalls and rags etc. The amazing thing is that all of that fitted in the lift up area at the bottom of the boot where the spare wheel etc is kept.
 
Ah got a vice and work bench in the back o my Landy. As well as all me tools. Oh and a grinding wheel (dunno why I got that in there really. It's older than anythin i've ever seen, iss got a handle yer turn on the side to spin the stone. No electrickery required.) If yer have a 300tdi, make sure yu have an 8mm hex key. You'll need it to tighten up the pulley on the alternator if it happens to fall orf. Like mine did. So ah wuss stuck on the side of the road. Cos that wuss the only tool I DID'NT have...
 
Oooo.. and a good strop. Cos us girlies always likes to have a good ol 'strop' about sumfink or other. And lots of shackles. cos it scares the RAC man cos he finks yer well kinky.. and there sort of handy fer towing wiff of course.

Don't need to worry about stroping, got that down to a fine art!! :D :D
