Guys lets write down our unique stories about our landy's in this thread.
The moments we thank God we own it...

My story;

Daddy is in the hospital due to bone marrow problems and everyday i am carrying donors for blood and platelets to the hospital...

Last weekend there was a shtty snow here and my sedan was just useless. It couldn't even leave the parking lot. I jumped on the series, took it out of the land where it under snow/in dirt. Made 1200 km's in one weekend carried 5 guys to the hospital for blood, did all the transportation...

I want to thank my series (phantom) for this great service he gave...

shes still waiting for her moment of glory....

Mine goes like: spent a sh1t load of money, spend a sh1t load of time. Find something else knackered!!!!!

Great story though....

..Hope all goes well with your old man.

Thanks Max,

I couldn't even have time to spend money and time on the landy, just bought and driving... I am looking forward to tidying it up...

It's funny that people were telling stuff like "it'll break and die"

sorry to hear about your old man, last november in the snow my landy and i helped the district nurse sail about and get to patients and deliver food to the nursing homes and helped my mum get carers to her elderly clients where would be without them

A few years ago the village i live in was flooded, we had a months worth of rain in 24 hours.
The only way to get to the nearest town was by boat ( i kid you not) but as i didn't own a boat, i thought i would risk the trusty but rusty S2a.
The water was coming in through the bottom of the door, and if im honest, i was having a bloody good laugh. Then i happened up on a lady in her 50's stuck inside her little car. She had water up to her waist line, and she was freezing cold....her lips were blue, she was shaking like a rabid dog, and generally not very well at all.
I got her out of the car ( which was flippin hard work, she was like a dead weight, and i didn't want to hurt her) Anyways, long story short, i got her to the hospital and they sorted her out, and we have been good friends ever since.
Infact, im off round to see her now, to see if she needs owt from tesco.
The things you do ;)

landys might not be the best when the road is good, but when the cars can't hack the water, mud etc they certainly come into their own :D

they suck on tarmac but drive like a train on rough country roads....

my clutch and throttle pedal of the series are better than my volvo's.
Also its higher than most of suv's

no need to be kind just be sincere to your series...
just dont forget to fill the fluids and check the brakes

Phantom saved the day, again under snow...
