Series Master Cylinder- fitting size query

The vehicle in question is a 1973 series 3 landrover. Does anyone know the fitting size of the pipe that screws into the master cylinder and goes up to the stand alone resovoir? am I right in thinking its 7/16

The reason I ask, is im in need of a resovoir and are currently looking at some screw in ones that screw straight into the top of the master cylinder itself rather than having the pipe in between them.
