Hi there,
New to the forum, not so new to Landrovers. Used to mess around with them as an excuse to avoid working any years ago. As a result I know a bit about Series LRs and sod all about anything with funny wiggly springs at the corners....
Interested to hear from anyone in West Yorks who either has a Series or who wants to convert me to the joys of real suspension.
At the moment I'm looking for a good donor for a full rebuild, either a s.IIa or a late (post '79 5mb) s.III 88. I've been planning on doing a full build up of a truckcab with a tilt as a very original vehicle for a while. I suspect it's a midlfe crisis of some kind but as I can't attract a blonde and can't afford a sports car I guess I'll have to stick with it.....
Anyway enough waffle for now.
