Series I 86 - unique items?

So, mad as I am I am considering buying a Series 1 86 of 1954 vintage. Ex-Australia truck in what seems to be very good condition, it's been converted to a 2.25 engine (which i have NO problem with).

Question I have is what else is likely to be unique in the 86es that didn' t carry forward? Fairly familiar with the 80-inch setup but not the 86es.

Do tell, folks... :)

OK, now you've all had your pub wit moments... :)

Take it no one has anything significant to say? Thing is, i know this is a very transitional design - went 2 years in production. Not concerned about being able to maintain it, really, just curious if anyone knows of any "don't break it 'cause you're screwed" bits.

I am looking into buying a series one, most of Land Rovers history is evolving parts and very little was that unique that I have come across. May be prop shaft lengths differ but that can be sorted easily. A grown up will be along to tell us more.
 
I can't be sure, but didn't the 86s have an angled door bottom, that was not the same as an 80 or an 88. Therefore, if I'm right in thinking, the door bottom and the tub (so it aligns with the angled door) would be unique?
 
It was the 80" that had the angled rear edge on the door, 86" and 88" doors are the same as is the bulkhead and back body. an original engine and parts for the engine would probably be the hardest to find.
Straight six pistons fit the 2ltr engine and raise the compression quite a bit and Piper used to reprofile cams for me, made them pull better.
 
All sounds good. This one has been refitted with a 2.25 by a previous owner (no big surprise given the scarcity of 2.0 parts) but otherwise looks remarkably unbuggered-with other than the usual wiring bodges. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it.

Propshafts are a good point - they don;t scare me though - wouldn;t be the first time I've cut & shut a longer propshaft to fit something.
