5 or 6 years back i bought an ex-RAF Series I 80-inch as a restoration project. Disassembled it, stored the parts in dry storage, and have sad to say realiized I'll never get the time to put it back together again.
So, reasonably complete Series I 80-inch for sale as parts, or parts from same available. I would prefer to sell this vehicle as a lot rather than as components, but it needs to go - I am up against a time limit on its departure.
The body is good other then horrid paint and the usual front wing door dents. Back axle is nowt but a casing, front axle is complete, transmission and transfer are freshly rebuilt, chassis is repairable but needs a good bit of repair. Some crossmemebers I built for it will go along with - i certainly have no use for them. Steering box is good, gas tank nonexistent. The truck is essentially complete, and I have a repairable bulkhead for it along with the too-far-gone original.
This is in the NORTHEAST USA - Chelmsford, MA to be exact. I know it seems silly to post it here but the grapevine trvels long and far in these days of the Interwebs.
