Right once thats was sorted i test fitted a wheel and it was spot on so i moved on to fitting up the other side before bleeding, i had a bit of a nightmare with the bleeding until i realised i had put the calipers on the wrong sides so the nipples were at the base. Not my brightest moment.
This meant i needed some new hard pipes so i bent up these bad boys.

once they were flipped they bled up pretty well although i had to clamp the back s off to get a decent pedal. Ill have a look at them one evening this week or at the weekend, if there not the issue ill have to have a think about a bigger master. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've looked at it, I've tried it as it looked almost feasable but castor was well out and as my motor may well be comp safari'd there is no way I will accept caster or losing ground clearance.

IMO fitting disco axles is a poor compromise as you give up too much and it is never right. I know people sack em on but you actually measure they will have lost inches of ground clearance or the angles are well off. The solution here is by far better than a disco axle IMO good job

Nice work there chap, I intend to restore a series in the future and will fit disc's and uprated half shafts. Jai did you sort that axle you was working on ?

Ah good stuff it certainly been an enjoyable little challenge. If you need any help let me know if you used something like a wilwood caliper it would take me 5 mins to knock you one up on cad.

Owl it's on the to do list! The disco one went in he scrap!!

We are laying out the team recovery which clashes with RTV so I cannot take part in RTV so I will need to get my little wreck of an 80 comp legal for ccv/comp ASAP! Had front axle might be later on after Nats I'm pretty sure I can fit the aeu5522 cvs and upgrade the axle with custom HD shafts. For me I have no need for discs brakes tbh drums will be fine for the trialer for now
