Can anyone offer any comments or recommendations for the next items on my shopping list please on the old girl!
These are:
Parabolic Springs - best proven manufacturer to go for and whose to avoid. Rocky Mountain look ideal.
How long are something like Insa Turbo MT tyres actually likely to last on tarmac, given the fact I do just as much tarmac driving to get to the lanes.
Winch recommendations (fitted with bracket plate to standard galv front bumper). Looking at budget 9000Ib electric models for standard light laning use.
Also, I have obtained the rarer MOD oil/air bath filter to fix the bodge by the previous owner, but before fitting, I was thinking it may just be okay to remove the filter bath altogether and just pipe up the existing Donaldson P02-0227 snorkel if I can obtain a sponge filter for it. Not sure of the effect on airflow to the standard 2.25d if this really matters.
Not forgetting new shock recommendations to go with the parabolics.
