Series 3 Handbrake/transmission brake return spring...where does it mount?

I've had the gearbox out to deal with it's incontinence issues but I can't remember where the brake return spring tab bolts on to. Its a SWB series 3 1982. The spring connects the handbrake to.....any ideas!! I have a large 'washer' with a hole that it connects to and a bolt but no evident home!!
