Series 3 engine

Starting a fresh post as traffic seems slow on this site and I can`t post in wanted yet.

5 bearing metric petrol unit.

Timing chain cover has a broken thread housing so I need to replace it.
Is it the same as a 3 bearing one, ?
Anyone have one, or know of a supplier ?

Can you not repair the thread. Maybe a helicoil insert? Or has it smashed off and there is nothing left?

Cracked off.
Maybe build a weld and recut, but cast is tricky to weld.

No one any idea ?

I have had mixed results with welding cast iron.

Some things have welded very well but a series exhaust manifold I found almost impossible.
I know there are two types of water pump housing but I’ve never looked into the chain cover
