No doubt this has been asked a thousand times before but .......
I'm looking to change me old tired Series 3 (1983) diesel engine and would like to know:

- What would be the easiest/best engine to use to drop in (not looking to spend too much).
- How big a job is it.
- Would I need to change the gearbox etc.
- What aprrox cost would you expect for this?
