series 3 colour

Hi all i have got a series 3 LWB petrol Ex military 1984 de comisioned in 97 ,the chassis is perfect and i mean perfect ,the problem is the original paint work was camo and it has had loads of brushed green on the top which has all been removed now right down to the ally,my mate recons it should be done in one colour and i think it should be back to original camo,and as this is going up for sale as soon as its done and the money put towards a diesel defender,what do you lot think the colour should be ?
PS it had a emblem of a spear on the front wheel arches any ideas what regiment it was the camo colour was black and nato green
