Series 3 200tdi wiring HELP!

Hi guys,
Attempting to do the wiring tonight but really struggling,
Previously a 2.25 petrol
So i have the wiring diagram for the 200tdi and kind of understand it.
But how does it relate in conjunction with the wires already in the series???
i.e alternator wiring is already on the back of the altenator from the disco and is all connected so do i use that not the altenator wiring from the 2.25?
Any help appreciated i need an IDIOTS guide

just adapt your wiring to tdi ,coil feed to fuel solenoid,thick brown alt wire to b+ on tdi alt and thin brown and yellow to d on tdi like wise with temp wire.if you want glow plugs you would have to wire new relay but shouldnt really need them if its a good engine,starter main feed straight from battery but leave feed to original solenoid on bulk head extend original starter solenoid wire to solenoid on tdi
