I've been searching a lot on here tonight, but can't find a definitive answer....so here goes.
The Inj. pump has a small leak from the shaft of the the Accelerator Control Lever on the injection pump housing.
If I remove the lever, and the steel collar, i can see Diesel is seeping past the shaft and down the pump body, so i'd assume there is an o-ring or sealing washer behind the main body, but i can't work out how to remove the rectangular cover that the shaft (and stop lever) fit onto.
Has anyone had a similar problem. or stripped this portion of the pump in-situ? I really don't want to remove the pump and fart around with timings - i've got enough going on as it is.
And i'm kinda fooked if i'm paying someone to fit a bloody washer....
