Ok, so it is you wagon is it? Nice. I'm intrigued... very. Those rims are, definitley, definitely not the rare 569203, even if stamped with that number, (see that thread) so can I ask you to rivet-count for this one?

In my best nasally voice, I would have said they might be pretender 569203. Would I be right?

What are they then?

They most certainly ARE the 569203 rims with the extra offset. Checked, checked and checked again. The inner section is flush with the raised section in the back. They are identical to the 569203 rims fitted to my mates 1-Ton. The only thing I can say further is they are not original to the vehicle but they came off something that was deep bronze green. I was identifying these rims (based on the rims, not photos) long, long before that article was written.

Here it is with a set of 569204s on that I had blasted and repainted for a series III rebuild.



And here with its usual 569203 rims on.



The difference is obvious, especially on the rear wheel if you compare the two photos.

hi i have read the above post, i bought a series 3 recently from a foto on ebay when i seen it the wheels i thought were v8 rims, but on closer inspection there are much wider and are all stamped with the number 569203, they are very straight and there is 5 off them, could someone give me a guide price to what these rims are worth, thank you michael

It would depend what vehicle they are on really. Is the vehicle a 1-Ton or not?

Yeah I understand that, what I am saying is that if they on a vehicle they are supposed to be on you would devalue the vehicle by selling the rims on. So what are they on?
