Hi guys!
i just wanted to let you all know another old leafer is back on the highway and in daily service!
i have had some help on here in the past and wished to thank everybody who has offered advice.
Just a few little questions id like to ask...
I have fitted some 235/85/R16 wheels and tyres, can anybody suggest what pressure i should be using??
Also, i have an overdrive fitted (this might not be important) but when i get going, with the wind behind me and get to 50mph, if i let off the throttle there is a grinding noise on overun coming from the drivetrain somewhere, is this fairly normal or has anybody got some advice??
Also, i have free wheeling hubs but the o/s doesnt want to do anything. It is the typoe with a nut which needs a socket or a spanner to select free or fixed. It seems half way between the two. I only know id doesnt have 4x4 as when i selected low box to try and reverse up a steep wet incline the rear wheel was spinning and didnt seem to be any effort from the front.. Any suggestions as to how to strat investigatin this?
Oh, and one last thing, its not a question, but i hope you guys find it funny. I think something has cralwed / nested between my bulkhead and the engine and dies, the car stinks of dead things, badly! its worse when the engine gets hot too!!
seriously, its alli can smell, its stained my nostrels!!
