Hi everyone. New to the forum so bear with me...
I've got a 1966 LWB and am thinking about some kind of suspension lift and wheel spacers and bigger tyres for a 'chunky' look!
Does anyone no what is involved in achieving this? Military spring plates? Someone told me these just stretch out the leaf springs, anyone tried it?
What about new springs, are they made in different shapes/sizes to raise the vehicle?
Hope someone can help, Cheers!

hi, how do?
i swapped tyres on my two landy's in my sig, the red one has parabolics and now has 235/85 all terrain tyres on the 8spoke rims, if i was any shorter i'd be needin a step ladder to get in it like!!!

i'v now got 235/75 mud tyres on the cream one, they complete its tractor theme, sounds like a tractor, drives like a tractor and now looks like one wi its big tyres! its on standard springs, personally i think they're better than the parabolics.

the 235 tyres fit under the wings without needin extensions and on standard springs i can still get a regular trailer hooked on, tow hich is 24" off the ground wi big tyres and parabolics!!

dont know about lifting but swopping tired springs for paras lifted mine up about 3". Used 8 spokes with a good offset so no need for spacers and the 235 85 16 s it nicely within the bodywork. Was surprised at how much it changed the gearing though....roughly the same as overdrive

Hi guys, cheers for the replies and pics (Red one looks chunky!). Not sure how much I want to spend... Good idea with the eight spokes and offset but would like to keep origional wheel look. Have got LWB wheels, what about Wolf wheels, anyone know what offset thes have. As for the gearing I want to raise it anyway so thats cool!
Military shackles, prop shaft angles... I think I've heard this before and it makes sense, are these just meant to be for the back (heavy loads?)
Cheers for your help guys!
