First time on this forum after buying my first ever series Landrover - a 2a 1960 2.25 diesel.
I have to replace fibre bush in the top of the steering column - that secures the inner column in the outer column and allows it to rotate. The bush originally came with a little spring - no longer available with the new replacement bush - but the question really is do I grease or oil that fibre bush? Or does it go in as it is and dry?
If you have ever seen the bush and replaced one please let me know how.
