Series 2.25 Diesels question.

Not sure if the photos will show this or not but I have 2 Series diesels but they look to have different castings on the front. One in the series 3 has no threaded holes but the series 2 does. Just below the water tap. Any of you experts know if there were 2 different castings, I thought they were all the same. Both have the light blue ex MOD paint.

duck egg blue was on all 3brg engines , there are a few front covers and water pumps military often had bolts for large 24volt genny,front drivers side ,with double crank pulley couldnt tell from photo

Could be, as the one with extra bolt holes is in what I suspect to be an ex MOD chassis, due to the front wheel swivels having covers on them. Thanks.

No, thats not right, the one with the extra bolt holes is not the ex MOD ...or maybe it is an ex MOD Landy as well ?
