Hi all,
I did a clutch change at the weekend on my D2 TD5 which went as well as a D2 clutch change goes on a gravel drive......
Anyway I snapped a sensor wire pulling the bell housing off, its the sensor that sits under the turbo (the boost pressure jobbie I believe), it has one white and one black wire, I've sorted the white wire but I cannot for the life of me find the end of the black wire. When it snapped the corrugated sheath came off and left the white wire hanging below the ECU area, I stripped as much as the sheath as possible but the black tail is nowhere to be seen.
I'm guessing its the earth so I was initially going to just put it to the body but I read something that says its earthed through the ECU so thought I'd best consult the guru's
