Sensible prices?

Been looking for a cheaper 90 SW and inbetween the £15,000+ being asked by dealers there seem to be a fair few good looking ones for a lot less.

Can someone put me off these two?
£7,000 one still for sale, buyer never turned up.
£1,000 to sort the rear seating and looks great for £8,000
The other one has been a CAT D but seller says damage was repaired years ago.
Genuine TD5 CSW with good panels and clean interior with factory aircon for £8,000

Looks like the second one is sold already!
As for the first one, looks nice, I'd find out more about what Cat D damage there was. Check the vehicle yourself or pay the AA to do it for you before you part with your hard earned..The early 10p TD5 engine might put some off but it it's done 77000 it can't be all bad. That said Defenders are still commanding big money for what they are.

First one has an interesting MOT history....and took a sabbatical in 2015 and again in 2017 til now.
But..... "cheap" defenders don't come along very often. You pays your money.......
