"select neutral" problem

hi

i have bin in the search side sins yesterday but i an a bit confused about what is wrong with my little p38 dse.

yesterday i puled into the gas station and stopped the car fore about 5 min .

and when i startede it agin it came with "select neutral" ...

have i burned the ecu ?

and is it safe to drive the car ??

i just puled the ecu for the trans box and i is a bit burned

but haw can that happen ???

Transistor has failed either due to an external overload or just an end of life failure

okay is there any problem in driving without that box
