Just bought another Series that's sat for ages. The Clutch is seized from standing for so long. I've got a new one, but before I change it, are there any tricks I should try to try and free the existing one or am I wasting my time?

after you have warm engine up, start it in second- drive down road clutch pedal down and stamp on brakes

our series three had stood outside for 12 years uncovered and with some jump leads started first time on 12yr old petrol and ran fine, the clutch was seized though, we left it running for about 20 minutes and it came free with the heat, but otherwise I hear the trick is to put it in low box and in gear start it and it might break free, but I duno how you're meant to manage that with only two legs and two arms, sounds a bit hectic! Good luck

Or if it isn't running yet, put it in gear clutch down and get some one to give to a tow. Worked on my lightweight !
