hi all here's a little problem i have which i'm hope u clever lot out there can help me with ?
i have a series IIA 88 which i have put a series III military gearbox in , all is good apart from then rear cross member. it is a straight bolt on cross member . i am aware that i need to weld a plate/plates on the chassis to fit this , but my problem is when the gearbox , engine are in the right position the cross member is about 40mm away from the chassis  how can i get round this ? has anybody else had this problem ?
