I did a search for this and it didn't come up on the site, so apologies if it has been mentioned. I came across this film on Netflix the other night. It's about the injustice of the treatment given to an Irish army company acting as peace keepers for the UN. Suffice to say it was a good film. But to the point. There are Landies galore throughout the film in many a guise. I am sure the much more educated will be able to identify whether the models are authentic to the year etc. Either way, it's a good watch, and shows how the politics of the time hung this company out to dry.. Shameful

Looked like mostly series 11a to me.

Interesting film. Little has changed in the Congo. I was there earlier this year. Even though the civil has only just ended the place is awash with western (and South African) prospectors trying to exploit the mines that are now accessible again.

If you're interested in that region watch a documentary called 'Virunga' also on Netflix. It's incredible.

Sounds worth a watch. I lived in Nigeria when I was a kid and would love to go back, but having spoken to someone who has worked in Lagos recently, he says you need a bodyguard to go almost anywhere. What a shame!
