Seeing double.....

Hi, I have a 94 300tdi disco, with a knackered front axle.... I got a replacement, allegedly from a commercial, but it has a lug for the steering arm on both wheels, unlike my original that only has one on the near side.... I'm confused!

I dunno if its only defenders but I know it's common to see em on td5's. my own 1999 110 TD5 has it. It can come in handy for extra security by running a chain around the front wheel and then locking the padlock through the hole

It's for lhd or rhd vehicles. Mine has both. Liking the chain idea! Never thought of that!!!

Mine has a panhard rod bracket at either end too.

Fit a second steering wheel, just to balance things out a bit.
