Just become a member & looking for some advice please...
I own a 2005 Defender 110 station wagon. It has the 60/40 bench split second row seating and I wanted to change this to individual high back seats.
The only place I’ve seen a straight swap product is Exmoor trim premium seats, which are an eye watering £1550. I presume they come with a new set of frames to fit all models!?

They sell leather high back leather seats for £150 each but state they won’t fit my model. Does anyone know if I can purchase new frames to fit these style or if I can get someone to fabricate something to allow the individual seats to be fitted.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Rob

I purchased high back second row seats from Exmoor Trim. Mine didn’t come with frames. I’m sure they were around £700-800 for the 3. I don’t know if the £1500 set does come with frames. Can you link to them?

The metal-work inside the seats isn’t as good quality as the original low back seats. The small shoulder bolts that are used to secure the seats in the upright position, bend the steel they are bolted to. I would still recommend them, as it was a safety upgrade for the kids, but if I was in the same position again now, I would look for some rear seats from a Puma. Yes it’s a MUCH bigger job to fit them, but it can’t be any more expensive.

Hi Mick thanks for the reply!

The Exmoor cheaper seats are these which come with no frames and state they won’t fit 60/40.

These are the premium seats which I presume come with a frame or special fixing plate to allow them to fit, but are pretty pricey! I got to get some fitted as I got a little one on the way myself & need something a bit tidier!

Don’t know whether it worth paying the extra just for an easy install, wasn’t sure how much faff it’d be to try fit other styles.
Cheers
