Second fob not working

Hi everyone

I am new to Range Rovers and can anyone help I have recently replaced the battery in my Range Rover P38 4.6 HSE and have been unable to get the second Keyfob working. If I leave either no 1 or no 2 key in the ingnition when the battery is replaced then only one works, any suggestions please

what year is the p38a pre 99 model lock and ulock the car with the door lock and press the remote to lock when lock and unlock when unlocking to resync
99 model on put key in ignition and turn postion2 press lock button and unlock button a few times to resync if this fails it could be a faulty remote

Many thank for the quick response I have tried that still does not work the Rangie is a 1999 and I know the fob is not faulty if I reinstall the battery with the second keyfon in the ignition it works, anyother suugestions I would be grateful for

if you are doing that all i can think of is to keep trying the ecu does accept it or else it would not work at all i suspect it is just slow or have then resynced by a specalist with the diag kit
