Has anybody fitted a second batt. to a RR classic ? where does it sit? and how is it wired up?

this will help re the wiring.

no idea where u fit the new battery though. prob have to make/weld a new mounting plate somewhere?

Daughters tdi has two batteries one either side of radiator used another battery mount welded in. Otherwise no probs doesn't half improve the starter turning it over quickly.

I have a 1982 Range Rover classic and it has 2 battery holders, one on each side of the radiator, I thought they were all like this, but it may be an Australian Land Rover modification.
