Well Hit another snag along the way,
I have the original seat box and tunnels for my rebuild, 1987 110, For some reason the PO has changed the front of the seat box to fit different Tunnel, It is far to wide to fit mine and holes don't line up,
A mate recons that one is 300tdi and 1 is 200tdi, Ive just put 2 new sides on my seat box and am in the process of cleaning it up to prime and paint as the rest including battery box is very solid, so I didnt want to really change for another that will fit my tunnel.
Is there another way around this ??
Thanks

Edit
Tis a 2 piece.also the floor plates will be different on a r380 to lt77

The photos are quite dark, but it looks like your mate is almost correct. The parts attached to the bulkhead are LT77 gearbox tunnels, the adaptor on the front of the seatbox is R380. You have 2 options;
Option 1: buy R380 parts from bulkhead to seatbox.
Option 2: contact YRM and see if they have the front panel ready, and if so, a version to fit the LT77.

The easiest of the 2 is option 1, but it’s probably not the cheapest. What floor plates do you have for the front? Take a photo of them laid flat, as this could sway the options if cost is an issue. YRM also sell the floors, in several different styles, so all is not lost.

I wonder why the LT77 seatbox adaptor was removed?

It looks like you have a pre-300TDi seat box that has been converted to 300TDi / R380 spec by cutting out the centre and riveting a section in from a later seat box.
Would the simplest option be to replace this section with the corresponding area from an old seat box, or fabricate a section from alloy sheet?
The R380 seat box is different in this area as the transfer box is mounted 2 inches further forward than earlier Land Rovers.

Original floor plates holes in sills don’t quite match yet but should when sills are in place. Going to local breakers tonight to see if we can mix and match things up, he should have all bits there to work something out.

Well this is a Nightmare, think I'm out of my depth here, Don't know what the PO was thinking when he fabricated original 200 tdi seat box but you can see in first and second photo exactly what he has done.
Anyway Got a plastic tunnel for the 300 tdi or r380, but didn't have the bit that bolts on to the bulkhead, I've got another r38 seat box to try and everything seems to line up right if I had that bit, Except bloody floor pans.
I also think an ordinary 200tdi box would do the job with my original tunnels. So my original box is very solid apart from the Botched up bit at front do really no good, The red one is not to bad but I could take solid battery box and New side panels off the original and put them on Red one.
That would leave me with plan A and get the bit that bolts to bulkhead and also get different floor pans to suit Red one.
Or Plan A and look for a decent 200 Box for original tunnels.

There s one at the breakers but it is knackered, on the bottom corners, gonna get it tomorrow and fit it just to see if everything lines up, then will have to order one if it does.
Already sussed my Next Problem,:( but will wait till I solve this one first, before I start asking more questions.

Which breakers are you using?

cant get the bit to tyr until tomorrow.
Anyway if it works, which I'm thinking/ well hoping it does, I need to make a good seat box out of the 2 I have, but thinking of which way to do it,

White one has 2 new sides and very good battery box but front hopeless.

Red one has Good front, battery box and sides knackered.

So do I take sides and box of White one and fit to Red, or just take whole front off Red and fit to White.
That is with out Damaging anything along the way Knowing my track record

I would take the sides and battery box off and fit to the other one.

Got everything ready for refitting, did not manage to get the tunnel bit to try, but will get seat box put back together then have a go at getting the rear tub back on.

Well still got myself a bit of a Dilemma here. Got the bulkhead bit for the 300 tdi tunnel and it all lines up except the plastic tunnel, the short gear stick has no chance of moving backwards unless I cut a bit out pf the tunnel.
My original white 200 tdi tunnel looks perfect but the seat box is 300. Would it be possible to change the front to 200 on the seat box ? that is if I can find a piece to go on.

Yes it is possible. I have a Puma seatbox in my 200tdi, with the gearbox tunnel from the original 200tdi. The wider tunnel of the R380 onwards gearboxes leaves a gap around the tunnel adaptor when fitted, so it needs another plate putting behind then two pieces. Mine isn’t the best, but I’m planning on getting a new seatbox front from YRM and fitting my 200tdi adaptor.

Bit more Trial fitting tonight. Think if I had the 200tdi adaptor, it would be spot on looking at it up against the 300 adaptor.. I did cut a bit off the 300 plastic tunnel one so gear stick can move backwards and it works OK. This tunnel is not in the best Nick but I suppose I could cover all the bad bits up by fitting carpet or something, Or maybe look for a better one. If the 300 bit had both corners I would have cleaned that up and used that too.
That is when I finally decide which way to go.

transmission cant be forward enough if youve had to cut a bit out to clear hi/lo housing
