Seal part number

Hi where does this seal go part number is mwc6130? Is it on the door or the sill? If so am I missing another seal thanks

Thanks do I need a seal that fits on the bottom of the door as there's nothing on mine just a bit gap?

not as std, hows your door fitted and condition might account for an excessive gap,though you can buy aftermarket seals you could fit, ive used these for a few jobs they have quite a few profiles if you look through

It's had new doors how does the sill seal fasten as there's no holes do I have to sill off ?

Didn't the td5's onwards have a seal on the door bottom instead of the sill.
Not sure what yours is, just a thought though.

It's a 2002 td5 it didn't have any on it so Im not sure what i need

Bottom of doors then. I can't be any help with part numbers though, have to look through parts book.

This is the seal that attaches to the lower portion of the body (not door) via rivets in order to provide a seal between the body frame and lower portion of the door. I know this because I just replace them on my 1991 Defender 90.

Does anyone no the part number for the seal that fits on the bottom of the door ? Thanks

Here is a pic of the part on the JC site. I have no idea how it attaches since I have an older 1991 Defender where the seal MWC6130 attaches to the sill vice the newer defenders where the seal is on the door itself.

Its always best to have your VIN, serial numbers of axles, type of trannys, etc handy when looking through the parts book and ordering parts.

Does anybody know what size Rivet is used for the door Sill?

I have taken my door seal off and tried to use the rivets I had left over in the garage and the pop Rivet gun I have couldn't get close enough to the sill to get a nice fit, any solutions?

Do I take the Sill off to door this ??
