SE cubby box strut?

My SE doesn't have the cup holders in the central cubby box. Can anyone confirm if this set up came with a gas strut fitted inside to assist with opening?

No. The gas struts were only for the cup holder version (the cup holder that was an optional extra).

Cheers. Looks like I'll find a new lid with cup holders built in then
