you cant identify!?
have you actually opened the bonnet to check?
that sounds pretty much like the alternator belt, and easy to spot straight away, probably its slack and needs adjusting

as above + therefore fanbelt probably slipping , causing sqealing noise

Okay thank you, I have lifted the bonnet, however I have several squeeks and am trying to identify them all!
Yep it's a Land Rover, they all do that
, there's not a family of field mice in there is there

As well as belts it may be alternator bearing running dry[drop of oil down behind alternator fan[not with motor running]Water pump bearing on the way out,grab fan push and pull it there should be very little movement.
