Then there is the issue of getting rid of what is left - which will presumably be immobile !

Well yes, if you have a trailer pop it on that,
Some scrappys will pick up body shells etc..

Do what I did - scrap it in situ, bit-by-bit.
Weigh-in what isn't needed, sell what typically sells quickly, keep what might be useful and last but not least - take the CAT off and get it priced separately!
I got £124 for 2 I had!!
