Hi Guys,

I am looking for some advice. I have been roaming the internet looking for schools which teach automechanics or similar coarse. Basically, I am thinking of getting into the business of opening an indy LandRover repair shop.

Can you guys give me some advice/guidance on the route options, ie, universities, LR courses if there are any. Bascially what would a non-mech like me would require to become a competent service provider.

Thanks in advance.

Well as you're in St Lucia and nearly everyone else on this forum is in The UK. I doubt any of our advice will be relevant to you. Only bit that might be, is to say Get yaself a few years as an apprentice in a good garage.

Thanks the info Redhand, it is useful. I was considering going to a University/College Abroad to start off. Then put what I have learn't into practice on my return home.

I will keep searching, to see what other options are available.

Thanks
