ok, I was a little surprised by the price of the Gap iiD (528$ plus shipping and tax!) also I can never help a friend since its vin locked..... but I guess it is the best to have as g stuart clearly said!
well I need to calibrate the suspension and the fancy multi thousand tool I borrowed from my friend will not do that, aaaaahhhhhhhhhh

DON'T buy a FOXWELL - I bought one, it failed after a few months and they (Foxwell) are (essentially) refusing to repair it...
That's a shame.
I have only heard good things about them.
You could try the Small Claims Track......

I am also wondering if you bought it from Foxwell themselves who are a bit more expensive, rather than other outlets who may be flogging chinese rip-offs. Which isn't obvious except to Foxwell who understandably wouldn't want to get involved in mendding anything like that.
Never heard anyone else say anything against them except pointing out some of their limitations, which is fair enough.

doesn't surprise me with some of the expensive code readers

ref the gap iid , just think if u needed to get another key , can buy one off eBay for around $30-40 buck, get the blank cut and have a new keys for less that $50 , ur also lucky urs isn’t a keyless entry as then u can get into serious money of over $1,000 as on some the module also needs to be replaced m it was there way of trying to prevent the theft of keyless entry landies , which could be stolen within 15 x seconds

there’s quite a few of us that own the gap iid , it will do virtually everything that a main dealer can do, plus the suspension calibration is a breeze to reset

please let us know how things go

So who's a clever Stanley tonight!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D
(CBA to go through the spreadsheet and didn't think I'd see it if it was there!!!)

Found it on the Foxwell site but it's not an option you can select, it asks you to select a module but there isn't an option for special functions but if you don't select one it lists everything :D
