We have a M 2.5tdi, been a slower job getting her road fit than planned. A light issue and chassis weld to go... how brave/competent to weld myself do I need to be? Am v basic at welding but can wield a spanner (had a T Spitty...) cheers..Al

Welcome to the forum, really depends on how bad and where the rot is. If in doubt put some pictures up.
