Satnav & radio problem

Afternoon all, traded in my Hippo for a F.L. 2 07 plate diesel SE (lovely)
I have one small problem, occasionally the Sat nav and radio start switching off and on, this usually clears itself if I switch ign off and on again. What I have noticed is if the reversing sensors operate the radio goes off for a couple of seconds (may this is common) I have looked at the FL workshop disc but can't understand the diagrams. Thinking about investing in a Haynes manual. Any ideas welcome.

radio usually hushes completely when in reverse, a bit of an electrical glitch somewhere, presumably in the software, vissie might be along soon with a better answer.

I thought it was a safety thing- turns the music down/off while reversing so you can hear the beeps.

My Yeti and the Octavia and BMW's all did that.

Mine does this as well. Just thought it was a safety thing. No other issues with the radio to suggest otherwise.
