I picked up a new rangerover west Europe map on eBay and it works fine but if you google it there are loads around.

Great link! I've been wanting to update my SatNav for years and this looks like the dog's danglies.

I replaced my disk in 2017, it has all of western Europe on 1 disk. Trouble is I cant remember where I got it. Only relevant if you drive in Europe.

So far with this update it has the complete A1m from York to Scotch Corner. No going ofroading like other updates. It also has the new Queen Elizabeth brridge across the River Forth. No more fording across the Forth. lol. It even has the new roundabouts where I live which were absent in other updates. I'm well impressed and dare I say it, even the routes seem more accurate.

Disc arrived this morning but I can't get it to work. The console display briefly showed a message saying I need a software update. Emailed SatNavDisc for help.
Watch this space.
1 hour later this is the reply: (pretty good response)
"You didn’t wait till software are loaded. If your navigation grey out and you eject the disc. Could you please disconnect your battery for 15 minutes.
Insert our new disc and wait until update complete and your navigation will be activate again.
If update will not finish after 30 minutes you must drive for few miles.
You must select rear gear and drive backward for a little bit to activate new maps."
Didn't need to disconnect the battery. In the end all I had to do was take the car for a drive.
So, all's well that ends well. Hats of to SatNavDiscs
