sat nav update or replacement

hi hoping some one can help, just got an old 2005 vogue . sat nave needs updating , while researching this I have come across various people who have updated there entire systems for android systems . question is does any one know makes and models of sat nav /radio/Bluetooth/dvd systems and and can these systems plug into steering wheel controls. Also are these systems plug and play or will they need to be wired in by a specialist . thanks barry

I have just updated the sat nav on my 05 Range Rover sport sat nav with land rovers disk I got from eBay.

Hardest part on mine was moving seat back to be able to get the original disk out ;-)

Don't know about updating to android based versions

Just to update I brought a updated disc and this sor Ted out the sat nav problem. As 4 the bluetooth I found a company who can fit an after market mobridge system which fully integrates in to the cars systems and controls including all steering wheel controls and voice controls. It's not cheap at £695 fully fitted but it was the only option I found without changing the full system.

Have a look at navitotal.com or something like that. It's a forum a bit like this place with loads of peeps giving help in diy how to's.
