Can you get updated maps for the Sat Nav units, if so where from, and how upto date are they? :confused:

Can you use the Sat Nav unit to play back tv or dvd? Has anyone replaced the Nav screen with another unit (in the same place)? Pics?
 
Yeah I've seen a few but wasn't sure if they were anygood, anyone recommend a buyer who supplies a good one?

where abouts are you located mate,there is a chap on ebay doing stuff like that,he lives in manchester so i could get intouch with him if you want,what make/model sat nav have you got??.give me all the details if you want,send it all by PM if you want to,cheers,GD.;);)
 
Cheers Gemsdad, I' in the process of finding a good Vogue at the moment, but having the Nav there with the maps out of date will fustrate me, so its good to hear updated versions are available, I'm looking at a few tomoz, so when I've got one I'll PM you if you dont mind to get hold of the details. Any idea of costs?

when you find the rangy you want we will look into it then,is that ok with you.;);)
 
ive just got an x reg vogue,ive looked at the sat nav disc and its a 2000,the maps are well out of date and i cant get the sound to work,do i need to tune the sat nav into the radio and how do you do it.many thanks
