SAT NAV not responding

Hi folks. I have a Rangie P38 1999 with sat nav fited. Is a sat nav with 3 button. I can only turn of or on and no other button or function works.. I dont have nav CD... They are obligatory for the sat nav pc to work??? I mean for the rest of the onboard computer that is on this sat nav system.......

It won't work without a CD.

^ +1 you need to get the CD if you've not got it.
