Hello

We've just decided to go walk the dogs on Salisbury Plains.

Short notice I know but just wondering if there is anyone who fancies meeting us and showing us around. Nowt hardcore, just a bit of fun and showing us around would be nice. We're coming from Yate so will be around that area around 15:00 - 15:30ish.

Give us a bell on
0 seven eight one one

two 0 one

0 nine five

Cheers

Saturday is not a good day... they usually are in training till 4...there's still some byways around, which are outside training grounds, but inside is more fun.. mind you with no rain for the last weeks, there isnt much mud left to play around..

we are going tomorrow though, meeting at Bulford Camp at 10.30..

Going south from Devizes we got to the entrance my girlfriend knows on the left hand side and the red flags were up, so we crossed the road and went over on the other side.

COOL.

Off we went drove the big stoned roads then noticed the by-way signs and went off down a few, pulled over and walked any bits we were unsure of before doing them as we were on our own.

My first time there and I loved it. Can't wait to go with poeple who know it well and know which are the permissable places to go.

Dogs enjoyed it..

After the first puddle I did the macarena as you can see

Dogs still loving it

Bit futher down the by way was a bigger puddle, but had to go around that as a major getting stuck risk arose, so went around that and went through a smaller water trap

Pulled over to let the dogs out and have a bickkie

The handbrake started slipping so we had to stop it rolling down the slope... It was real hard, it's a heavy car..

Of course SHE's had her weetabix this morning...

In action

The next water trap

She went wading

Finished off with a rather bumpy lane

Then walk the dogs and off home. Cracking day

looks like you had a great day mate... the ox drove is another one near.. you wont get stuck there buts its a bit scratchy !

Not bothered about scratchy. Can anyone turn up at Bulford Camp???

Not guaranteed, might be busy anyway but would love to know if in the morning I find I'm free

mad hat man - I think I've done that.. it's not far from Buldford camp is it?
and it just starts off a main road?

that was narrow and very, very scratchy!!!

Hahahaha!!!!
that still makes me laugh!!!!

fortunately the mud protected much of the pain work (one of the reasons I usually only wash underneath)... have a few scratches, but my mate Disco has loads and loads of scratches...

this... the ox drove/
Is it a lane that is just off a main road?over a bank? and then ends up on another main road on a sharp bend?
