Salisbury diff level plug

My level/filler plug is weeping, took it out to check level which was fine, put it back in but was not tightening, can an over sized plug be bought or do I need a new diff cover, I dont want to use ptfe tape as it feels like a bodge, sorry if this has been posted before but the search function is not working on my phone

if holes is stretched then a new cover would be an answer rtc844,or new plug 608246,tape will help in the short term ,or you could get a 3/4 bsp blanking plug and use a washer
