hi, does any one know is it a easy swop to fit a sailsbury axle to my 90 ?
i have a wide angle shortened prop too.
but i have been told today that axle will run at wrong angle causing a anoying vibration and that i will need to change angle of axle , which could be quite a task , does any know about this as i was told it was a simple swop , and shorter prop was all i would need. and have now been advised to get a detroit locker, which would be ok , but my sailsbury has had a full refurb discs pads bearings seals the lot , any help would be much wellcomed mark

yeah that was what was told , but some one i spoke to today said i have to move brackets , change angle of spring bottoms said it is a lot of hassle .
thats why need some more veiws

what he was saying is cause the sailsbury is longer , with shorter prop the prop then is running at a steeper angle ,
so it causes vibs at 25 mph , he said to componsate for this you need to change angle of axle by turning it slightly up wards , then i will need to make wedges for spring plates , change wish bone cut and weld it , and basicly told me it is a hole load of hassle , and not straght forward . but as you have done it , i think i will be following your advice . cheers mark

I have noticed no noticable vibrations and have travelled over 70MPH on the motorway with no real vibrations. and a trip to salisbury with no bad signs Jai
