Hello everyone,very sad to say the time has come to part with my beloved d2 td5.1999my T reg.has just over 140 k on her. I'm not looking for sympathy or to get more than a fair price,the only reason to let go of her is I'm very I'll and not fit enough to drive any distance anymore.Dont want her sitting there wasting away.Anyway,she has no faults whatever,as far as I'm aware.Everything is still as it left the factory as in no mods at all except for the ABS modulator wiring fix which I did with the proper plug in expensive kit.The chassis had 2 little patches properly done at the back with3mm steel and migged up about a year ago.Shes had a thorough service with good filters and top quality oil every 3k or less for the last 5 years of my ownership.I have replaced all the steering joints/ bars damper p/s pump in last 2 hrs,no play in it or box.Steers sharp and true.Watts linkage completely replaced .All discs and pads done last summer.Tyres are nexians at rodians done about 4k and wearing totally even.All systems work correctly,t/c hill descent,SLS ace, air con heating climate control heated electric leather seats It's an ES so has 7.The only thing on it that Doesn't work is the front sunroof.It got on my tits so I unplugged it and sealed it 4 years ago and forgot about it.She starts whatever the weather with no smoke or funny noises the transmission is sweet and has had a proper fluid and filter change last year.Also new complete in tank pump.The exterior is very good with only tiny scratches here and there and no big marks or dents. There are no wiring bodges on it anywhere or rust that I can find.It has been cosseted and had everything it's wanted for the last 5 years.Mot is until next year and had no advisories I will try to get pics when snow goes and put them on here. I'm in no hurry for her to go but my time is limited because of health and don't want to leave it to family to sort when gone.
